Applications Kronos Developer

PURPOSE:
Manage complex projects through the design, development, testing and debugging phases of an application delivery cycle as well as designing and developing components of the service as an individual contributor.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Use appropriate programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications for the enterprise.
2) Provide technical and analytical input/guidance to project team and assist developers regarding project architecture and application programming practices.
3) Manages individual projects and works as an individual contributor; is responsible for completing projects within allotted timeline.
4) Assists with definition of project scope and objectives, as well as provides technical architecture input and coordinates programming practices of a project team, and identifies resource needs.
5) Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates and status reports.
6) Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
7) Ensures adherences to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
8) Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.

DUTIES:
Kronos developer needed to support multi-Project Kronos development activity in support of Workforce Central Timekeeping, Retail Scheduling and Analytics. The first project is related to on-going support activities related to the recent consolidation of two production instances of Kronos. Kronos Work Force 6.1 Application Production Support
Work with other developers in delivering solutions.
Responding to issues and following up with customers on a timely manner with solutions
Notify the appropriate IT Area after identifying the issue and work with internal teams to provide solutions in a timely manner
Work with IT Teams in providing solution to Production Support Issues
Production Incident Management and Documentation
Manage and Improve System Performance
Document and Manager System Configuration and Changes
Work on special projects as required

SKILLS:
Strong knowledge of Kronos Technical and Application Architecture
Strong experience and experience with Kronos WFC/WFSO 6.1
Strong knowledge of WFC/WFSO Data Models
Strong experience with Workforce Connect
Files and Folder Structure of Workforce Connect
Workforce Connect Runtime Utility
Exceptional SQL skills (Oracle preferred)
Strong knowledge of Kronos' interaction with its corresponding HR/Payroll system(s)
Strong familiarity with Labor Levels, Labor Accounts, Pay Codes, Work Rules, Holiday and Overtime Rules, Wage Calculations, Access Profiles, Display Profiles, Accruals, Accrual Profiles, Email and Workflow Notifications
Exposure to Record Manager
Strong familiarity with Kronos API and XML, Web implementation and Java

Scientific or technical degree is preferred. In general, candidates for this job would have the following levels of education/experience: BS degree (or equivalent). Argus experience A MUST
