Applications Development Technical Lead
6 month daily rate contract
County Kildare
Excellent daily rate for the right candidate
The main responsibility of the Applications Development Technical Lead is to support our Financial Shared Services (FSS) project by leading the design, development and implementation of the Interface and Data Conversion aspects of the FSS project.
The main duties and responsibilities will include the following:
- Engage with the wider FSS team assisting them in the design of the overall FSS solution and in the collation and documentation of the interfacing and data conversion requirements
- Develop data maps of the To-be solution
- Develop code as needed to assist in the integration and data migration/cleansing process
- Identify or develop a tool to assist in the integration and data migration/cleansing process
- Produce the functional and technical specifications for the interface and data conversion programs
- Design and prepare the required development environments, including development tool selection and set-up.
- Manage a small team (2-3 developers) to develop, test and implement the FSS interface and data conversion solution
- Co-ordinate with the wider business and system integrator team through all phases of development, testing and implementation
- Co-ordinate any interfacing or data conversion activities on the Legacy systems throughout all phases of the project life cycle.
The following qualification, skills, knowledge and attributes are required:
- A relevant third level or similar qualification or technical experience in the relevant subject matter.
- Knowledge of ITIL process and approach is desirable.
- 2+ years' experience as an Application Developer or Team Lead, with a proven track record in interfacing and/or data conversion roles
- Detailed knowledge of the technical content required to complete the role
- Experience in an Oracle eBS environment, with technical experience of Oracle eBS APIs, Oracle eBS Open Interfaces, Oracle Middleware, Oracle J-Developer, Oracle ADI, Oracle Forms, HTML, Java, Oracle Application Server and Oracle Master Data Management would be an advantage
Oracle PL/SQL developer experience, preferably with some SQL Server experience
