Applications Development Manager (.Net)

My client a large multinational within the financial sector has an immediate contract for an Applications Development Manager with a software development background. The successful candidate will be responsible for Managing complex, global, enterprise level projects. This is a six month contract role and possibility to extend.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Responsible for leading a software development team and Manage Business/client relationships with the senior business leaders associated with this project.
- Work with the development teams and the application and Domain architects in design and product selection.
- Oversee the development of scope, budgets, time line documents.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-organizational situations and be enthusiastic about building quality software products.

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 10 years IT experience - software development experience with - technology project management experience is required.
- Experience of managing software development projects and leading teams successfully.
- Excellent project and process management skills.
- Experience in managing projects in an agile environment.
- Experience with banking and cash management applications and process would be advantageous.
- Software development (preferably.NET) is preferred.
- Experience in Framework Development.
