Applications Convergence Business Analyst

Applications Convergence Business Analyst: Applications Convergence Business Analyst is urgently required for a challenging transformation programme in the Netherlands.

The Applications Convergence Business Analyst will be responsible for the following role:

The Applications Convergence Business Analyst will be required to facilitate the large scale convergence of 600+ applications on desktop and Server Side.

The Applications Convergence Business Analyst will be working across 2 Towers: EUC and Applications.

Initially the Applications Convergence Business Analyst will support the EUC tower in rationalising a fragmented desktop application portfolio in readiness for volume deployment in Q1 2015. In parallel and subsequent to the EUC activities the analysis will support the applications tower in continuing analysis and rationalisation of a large fragmented business application and collaboration estate. Some business interaction is required so the Applications Convergence Business Analyst is expected to be able to confidently converse with the business and IT resource to meet the stated objectives of the programme leads.

Core Skills:

Analysis within the following key areas:

Desktop Applications and application profiles

Large scale application rationalisation/consolidation/convergence

Good knowledge of applications architecture (eg n-tier, SaaS etc)

Good knowledge of common business applications portfolios

Excellent MS Excel and analytical skills.

Excellent requirements management; stakeholder management; communication.

Experienced in high pressure environments

Must have worked on an applications rationalisation project

Must have direct experience of rationalising business application portfolios

Required Technologies: Advanced MS excel

Office 365 and its constituent components

Preferred Technologies: Windows
