Our client is a large government agency focused on providing a range of services to the community.

A large emphasis is placed on their ICT division that supports existing systems and develops and installs new systems and facilities.

THEY NOW SEEK A TECHNICAL SPECIALIST WITH HIGH LEVELS OF APPLICATION MANAGEMENT SKILLS TO PERFORM BELOW DUTIES:

- Manage technical change across the Program.
- Perform application maintenance on non-production environments.
- Perform software configuration management of the System.
- Perform software release management of application and system integration components.
- Participate in software implementation and integration components.
- Perform maintenance, ongoing monitoring and support of Niche client, application and integration software for the Program (non-production environments).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Proven experience in the effective application of change management methodologies and techniques.
- Proven experience in software configuration management within multi-tier software architectures.
- Proven experience in software release management.
- Proven experience in COTS product implementations including systems configuration, customisation and integration.
- Proven experience in using configuration management software
- Technical knowledge of SQL language and data concepts like index, tables, replication, store procedures.
- Proven experience working with projects using Microsoft tools and technologies:
- Microsoft Windows 7
- Microsoft Windows Server 2008 o MS SQL Server 2008
- MS SQL Management Studio
- Proven experience in generating positive support and cooperation from stakeholders, clients, service providers and peers.
