Application Testing Specialist German Speaker

Senovo IT is urgently looking for an Application Testing Specialist in Zurich for a long term assignment.

The Application Tester should have the following skills/experience:

Language Requirements:
GERMAN (MANDATORY)
ENGLISH (MANDATORY)

Technical Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in the "testing environment" (eg, test development, design, execution, automation)

Experience in the test analysis and implementation of:
- Manual testing (GUI as well as batch-side)
- Automated testing
- Performance testing
- Knowledge of different test methods and techniques
- Knowledge in test management and automation
- Knowledge of Unix-based systems and Oracle databases

PL/SQL/SQL:
- Able to create basic queries/scripts
- Able to read and test existing scripts
- Ability to "communicate" with the databases via scripts to generate test data, and to test large amounts of data to prove the integrity of the systems.

PowerBuilder:
- Experience in dealing with PowerBuilder applications (programming skills are a plus)

Exposure to testing and tracking tools, such as:
- TOSCA
- RPT/RFT
- SPIRA
- Bugzilla
- Test Link
- Jira

Exposure to performance testing tools, such as:
- JMeter
- AppDynamics
- Knowledge of programming languages (such as Java, SQL, PowerBuilder) an advantage
- Professional experience in the insurance domain an advantage
