Application Tester with Sharepoint Experience

An exciting opportunity will be available in Stockholm/Sweden in March for a Backoffice Application Tester with SharePoint experience.

We are looking for candidates with the following profile:

- Education:

University degree plus minimum 3 years of IT experience.
- Candidates with no university degree must possess 6 years in IT;
- Languages:

English. - Swedish skills are not required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an Application Tester/Test Analyst;
- Knowledge of SharePoint, Active Directory, SQL and Exchange;
- Experience in troubleshooting in a Microsoft environment;
- Experience of working in a test team, cooperating and communicating with developers and system administrators;
- Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2010/2012;
- Experience with test methodologies, especially SCRUM;
- Experience in different testing types.

Tasks:

- Deploy and test mainly SharePoint applications and patches in a testing environment, ie prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools;
- Independently work on troubleshooting issues into ICT integration test environment, related to the applications under test;
- Set up Active Directory and MS Exchange test accounts;
- Set up test databases in MS SQL Server;
- Create test cases based on use cases provided;
- Create test scripts;
- Register and track issues using Team Foundation Server;
- Provide reports about the tests conducted;
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of a test environment for integrated testing of the various applications developed;
- Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment.

This position is offered with a freelance contract until January 2016. Start date will be in mid March.
