APPLICATION TESTER - TEST ANALYST - SWEDEN

We are looking for passionate Tester's to work at a major European Organisation on a long term contract!

The consultant will be integrated in the Back Office group of the ICT Infrastructure section and participate in the ICT projects of the operational units and carry out functional and integration testing and corresponding tasks to support the life cycle of the applications and systems and to facilitate the integration of new applications in the ICT environment, specifically:

- Deploy and test (mainly Sharepoint) applications and patches in a testing environment using Powershell.
- Prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools
- Independently troubleshoot issues into ICT integration test environment, related to the applications under test
- Work with Active Directory, MS Exchange and MSSQL
- Create test cases based on use cases provided
- Create test scripts using Visual Studio
- Register and track issues using Team Foundation Server
- Provide reports about the tests conducted
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of a test environment for integrated testing of the various applications
- Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment

Required proficiency in Information technologies

- Proficiency in Unified Modelling Language (UML);
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming (OOP);
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, technologies and tools;

Education and work experience

- University degree with minimum 3 years of experience in IT OR non university degree with minimum 6 years of experience in IT;
- Minimum 2 years of information Systems testing experience;
- Experience with agile software development (for instance, Scrum) or other iterative development processes (for instance, RUP)
