Application Tester, Stockholm

An exciting opportunity is currently available in Stockholm for an ENGLISH SPEAKING APPLICATION TESTER. This position is located in the Public Sector through an IT Service Provider.

TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Document and maintain a standard testing process based on the client's standards
- Test and deploy applications and patches in a testing environment, ie prepare test plans and conduct testing and debugging to proactively identify bugs in application code during the construction phase as well as the validation and integration phase of the software development life cycle including the use of automated testing tools
- Create test cases based on use cases provided
- Provide reports about the tests conducted
- Contribute to the maintenance and expansion of a test environment for integrated testing of the various applications
- Support the integration of new systems into the existing environment

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:

- Extensive experience in creation and execution of test plans
- Knowledge of SharePoint administration and development
- Experience with TFS
- Team-working experience
- Knowledge of Active Directory and MS Exchange
- Experience with automated test tools
- Development experience in C#, ASP.NET and SQL
- Report writing experience

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

- Very good English (oral and written)
