For our client based in Zuchwil, we are looking for an application tester lead, for a 80%, 3 month contract.

The application tester lead is responsible to lead all aspects related to testing of a new release of the company's Inventory & electronic ordering tools.

The application tester lead is expected to write UAT test scripts, executes tests and documents the testing results. Furthermore the person is required to further refine an existing Test plan and traceability Matrix.

In addition to the core responsibilities as briefly described above, the person needs to organize the status meetings and send the Status Report (Daily, Weekly etc.) to the team.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities:

-Define test cases
-Create test scripts
-Execution of test scripts
-Define defects
-Test creation, execution and defect handling on complex items
-Define test approaches and test plans
-Overall Test planning and coordination

Non-Technical profile requirements:

-Good Document Practices
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
-Quick learner, motivated self-starter
-Structured/Organized
- Able to follow and execute test (management) procedures and internal guidelines

Methodology/Certification requirements:

- Master and/or Bachelor Degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Chemistry or Bioinformatics OR equivalent through experience.
-English spoken and written.
