APPLICATION TESTER

SKILLS:
BizTalk, XML schemas, Database Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, ad-hoc queries) including MS-SQL, TRANSAC-SQL, Oracle SQL, Knowledge of HTML5 and Web Applications (Java-Scripts, jQuery, ASP MVC or ASP.NET and other related knowledge of Web-API, Knockout and JQueryUI,

SUMMARY:
This will be a 3 - 6 month project to help business bring on new clients, set them up, test, some coding (XML Manipulation of data coming in). Bring the data in, process it through send result of data back, set up, map and test data. Someone to analyze data and who will be customer facing within the organization to different business units.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creating test plans, use cases, doing the testing, creating the testing results reports, and implementing the testing needed.
- Working in collecting, documenting, and maintaining the business requirements for the client's Project.
- Supporting the resolution of defects found during testing and providing general testing process consultation to the project team.
- Reviewing and editing requirements, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to the project.
- Developing presentations for stakeholders, officials, and other interested parties when requested by the Executive Director or Technical Lead.
- Learning vendors' software and systems in enough detail to facilitate troubleshooting and tracing issues to a specific application in the system.
- Creating and maintaining all Performance test cases and scenarios and providing test metrics and test summary report.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Minimum 3 years experience as a tester for IT projects.
- An ability to understand the complexity of a large integrated system and to trace problems to their source.
- Knowledge of Enterprise Service Bus architecture (BizTalk, Software AG, Mule, WebSphere, TIBCO, etc.) ability to build complex XML schemas.
- Experience in NIEM XML or other complex XML Standard is a plus.
- Experience with SOA technologies.
- Knowledge of Database Development (Stored Procedures, Functions, Views, ad-hoc queries) including MS-SQL TRANSAC-SQL (2005 and above), some Oracle PL/SQL will be a plus.
- Knowledge of HTML5 and Web Applications including Java-Scripts, jQuery, ASP MVC or Asp.NET and Other related knowledge of Web-API, Knockout, JQueryUI, Telerik component and Durandal is a plus.
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Work cooperatively with other Team Members including Team-Leader/Manager, Developers, Testers, Designers and others
