Description: Application Test Lead

Job Purpose:
Work under direction of Application Architect and Business Architect to develop automated test process and tools for testing Member Gateway Application. Develop automated test scripts for testing each business rule with positive and negative test cases. Perform regression testing, business scenario testing and system testing at the application level. Coordinate with Java and SQL development leads for testing effort. Understanding the business requirement, system components and business rules developed to design reusable test framework and traceable test results.

Job Duties:
- Understand the business requirement
- Understand the technical components
- Develop testing framework and test rules
- Perform business functional test, integration test, system test and regression test at the application level
- Product test reports for every release
- For each business rules, design and develop positive and negative test cases and test rules
- Work with the business architect to drive the business test cases
- Work with the application architect to drive the system test cases

Skills/Qualification:
- Minimum 8 years of hands on testing experience
- Hands on experience of building plain SQLs in Oracle/SQL Server
- Knowledge of Stored Procedure/functions
- Hands on experience of testing Java application interacting with JMS, JDBC, HTTPS, FTPS/SFTP etc
- Hands on experience of RDBMS batch processing for populating large data volume
- Hands on experience in testing SQL based application
- Hands on experience testing web based external interfaces with web security
- Hands on experience with test tools such as SOAPUI
- Hands on experience in Scripting language
- Good communication skill and strong leadership
