Application Technical Discovery Consultant

The Dell Associates programme brings together a community of independent, professional IT contractors who work alongside Dell on projects throughout Europe. Opportunities range from one-time deployment roles to multi-year on-site engagements and are ideal for contractors who want to build on their experience across a wide range of IT products with the flexibility of project by project opportunities.
We currently have a requirement for an experienced Application Technical Discovery Consultant to assist with a project based on our clients site in London.

Responsibilites will include:
Comply with the agreed discovery approach process provided by the Client
Provide data gathering against the agreed PRF template for all in-scope applications.
Provide ad-hoc discovery reporting as required
Identify and request all relevant data sources and systems access rights needed to complete the supplier obligations of these service elements.
Identify, document and inform Customer of any peripherals (example: dongles, printers, USB devices) required as part of the installation process for the application. Including identifying where the peripherals will need to be available for either the packaging or testing process.
Submit application PRF for approval by Customer prior to submission to packaging
Follow-up with the application business/technical owners and follow the agree escalations process as agreed by Client and Dell
