Application System Administrator Job

APPLICATION SYSTEM ADMINISTRATORneeded for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, Missouri.

TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Modern web development (eg, HTML5, JavaScript, AngularJS, Backbone)
- Developing large-scale, custom distributed software systems in Java, Scala and/or C#
- Experience with test tools (TestRail, HPQC, test automation tools, etc) and code repository tools
- LDAP integration experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting Advanced Engineering Lab Management tools including the Atlassian Suite (Confluence, JIRA, Crowd, Stash), test plan management tools and other tools as determined to support the Advanced Engineering team.
- As the Atlassian application administrator, this role will be responsible for maintaining all Confluence Spaces and JIRA projects, workflows, permissions, users, etc.
- Administrator is responsible for working a queue of JIRA tickets to address system issues, user requests, etc. on a daily basis.
- Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
- Create JIRA workflows including project workflows, field configurations, notification schemes, etc. in JIRA
- Manage user permissions for tools according to the needs of projects and teams
- Perform application and system administration tasks, including data backups and scheduled jobs

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- UNIX SYS ADMIN EXPERIENCE IN INSTALLING APPLICATIONS ON VMS, MONITORING PERFORMANCE, TAILING LOGS, ETC. (MUST)
- TWO (2+) YEARS JIRA ADMINISTRATOR WITH EXPERIENCE CUSTOMIZING JIRA PROJECTS WITH VARIOUS SCHEMAS, COMPLEX WORKFLOWS, SCREEN SCHEMES, PERMISSION SCHEMES, AND NOTIFICATION SCHEMES (MUST)
- MYSQL DATABASE SKILLS TO SCHEDULE BACK-UPS ABILITIES: PROBLEM SOLVING, STATISTICS, SME

- Experience in performing Atlassian installations and migrations
- Integration experience on JIRA with Confluence with plugins and development
