Requested Expertise:
Specialists who specialize in the Application Consulting/Support discipline focus on building the skills capability, method, and assets required to support the effective creation, sale, and delivery of application solutions. In addition, this Specialist may specialize in Application Consulting specializations such as Application Development Effectiveness, CMMI improvements, Organizational Change, Measurement and Performance Management and AC Transition and Transformation, using the appropriate methods. Basic database skills needed.Teradata preferred. Mainframe (OPC scheduling) and midrange (Unix, focussed on Scripting and analysis) skills .

And at least proficient in one and preferably more of these applications:
Ab initio
SAS
Data Warehousing
PowerCenter

MAIN TASKS:
Second line support during and outside business hours (24/7 stand-by)
solve incidents
Production Support
Troubleshooting (both Mainframe and Unix Applications)
Basic Shell Scripting
JCL programming
Basic SQL analysis/programming
Implementation (deploying) in PR environment (can be outside the official working hours)
Project Support
consultancy
Deployments for testing purposes.
participation/perform pre production tests
deliver support during testing (incident solving)
deployments to a production site
support during implementation
Acceptance
secure operational aspects
give go/no go advice for implementation
Good communications skills, both speaking and writing English
Proactive
Knowledge of IBM with main focus on asset management (CEP/PAC), health check, URT and CIRATS
Testing applications (Multiplatform)
To be able to work under the pressure and tight schedules
Willing to work from time to time outside the official working hours
Flexible team player

Nice to have skills:
Knowledge of the ABN AMRO Bank
Knowledge of PRISMA (Peregrine service centre) and CASSA (asset management)
Knowledge of Teradata systems
Knowledge of Teradata SQL.
