KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Management of customer service, 2nd level application support, business analysis and program management teams which comprise the operations department
- To effectively lead and manage operations and ensure people are developed to meet the current and future needs of the business
- To instill a culture of customer focus, agility and continuous improvement that supports and empowers the above objectives
- To manage the total resources of the business in order to achieve optimum levels of employee productivity at minimum cost, so as to maximise profit, exceed customer expectations, ensure future business viability and strive to ensure best practice
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Strong technical background combined with commercial awareness
- Previous experience in a product driven software house would be ideal
- Solid management experience
- Strong leadership skills - ability to motivate, unify and empower others
- Ability to identify, analyse and solve business and operational problems
- Advanced communication and negotiation skills
- Proven business and commercial acumen
- Change leadership especially around continuous improvement customer orientation
- Strong presentation and representation skills
- Understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Planning and program management skills
