Application Support Manager

- CONTRACT UNTIL JUNE 2013

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop quality and operational templates for transition projects
- Coordinate resource scheduling and tracking;
- Management of incidents, requests and workflows through Team Foundation Server Administration;
- Engage with project managers for operational transition and quality requirements;
- Review project IT stage gate artefacts and transitional documentation to ensure that solutions meet operational acceptance criteria;
- Manage operational change and release processes on behalf of application delivery services for BAU changes and deployments;
- Triage reported defects and requests for change, assign for resolution, track and report progress;
- Schedule release packages and testing processes;
- Develop proactive monitoring processes, to ensure that we have sustainable processes in place for management of solutions for availability including backup and disaster recovery processes and
- Reporting requirements will vary depending on the nature of the engagement and the exact role each specified personnel will be required to fill.

SELECTION CRITERIA

- Demonstrated experience in leading teams delivering application support services in a Microsoft environment
- Experience and strong understanding of IT services delivery (ITIL-based), applications support and system administration
- Experience in supporting Microsoft solutions and platforms and specific experience with: ASP. Net, C#, HTML, SQL Server
- Visual Studio/TFS, Microsoft CRM (v4/5), Microsoft Sharepoint (2007/2010) and Biztalk
- Ability to engage and work collaboratively with technical and business
