Application Support - Jnr Level - Front Office

My client is a major Investment Bank who is looking for a Junior Level Application Support Analyst to join their Front Office Cash Equities IT team. The role is working in a small but highly skilled production support team, providing support to their risk management tools and risk applications. You will be working with in Cash Equities with Low Latency DMA and Algo Trading systems. You need to be a hungry and committed Application Support Analyst with a good technical understanding. Your communication skills must be excellent because you will work alongside the end user to improve and update the systems regularly. To apply, you must have: v Commercial experience in Application/Production Support v Technical skills in SQL and Unix/Linux, including a scripting language (Shell, Perl, Bash etc) v Excellent communication as you will be client facing v Strong problem solving v Experience supporting financial systems (preferably in Cash Equities) This opportunity is a Permanent position at Analyst Level and is a Junior level position.
