A GLOBAL COMPANY IN THE MIDST OF RAPID GROWTH REQUIRES APPLICATION SUPPORT ENGINEERS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION AND ONGOING SUPPORT FOR 24X7 REAL TIME APPLICATIONS

Based in the inner suburbs and providing free parking, these roles will co-ordinate the implementation of a major application, and provide a Level 3 Help Desk function encompassing network & application systems support.

You will be well-suited to this role if you're from an application support, system administration or systems engineer background, with a proven track record of troubleshooting.

You will be pro-active team player, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Must be available to work on a 24x7 roster.
- Substantial experience in an application or systems support role
- Experience with Linux and/or AIX
- Strong network troubleshooting skills (TCP/IP & Cisco)
- Excellent hardware and infrastructure troubleshooting skills
- Experience in the deployment of large scale applications
- Sound knowledge of Active Directory/Windows Server Administration
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Positive, can-do attitude
