Application Support Engineer (f/m)

Our customer is an international telecommunications company, involved in the R&D of cutting-edge mobile technologies. We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Application Support Engineer

PROJECT START: asap

PROJECT DURATION:31.03.16 initially

LOCATION: Regensburg or Munich

TASK DESCRIPTION:

- support for data analysis/statistical analysis applications/document management solution
-general user support & consulting in English and German language
-Handling of operational issues of applications in cooperation with users and IT team
-Requirements engineering and implementation with external partners
-Adaptation and configuration of the system/applications
-Testing and rollout of new software releases on Windows platform (clients and servers)

YOUR SKILLS:

- solid Windows platform experience (Windows 8, Windows Server 2012)
- SQL on MSSQL Server and Oracle
- solid C++
- logical, mathematical background is a bonus (for statistical analysis)
- SPOKEN German required
