Application Support Engineer

Our client, a leading international IT services provider who provides integrated design, builds and operates solutions to large multi-national clients requires a dedicated person to cover operational support of IT applications. The role will involve closely liaising with colleagues inside the business to ensure IT applications are to the correct standard.

Key responsibilities:

- Software/Application support
- Investigating and resolving problems
- Providing information and monitoring systems
- Liaising with systems developers
- Carrying out deeper analysis into incidents, which may involve modifying, testing and publishing code in ASP.NET, SharePoint or Classic ASP.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

- Ability to analyse and troubleshoot software components in .NET, SharePoint, classic ASP
- Good understanding of databases - Oracle, MS SQL
- Application Management experience.
