Our client, based in Brussels, is currently looking for an Application Support for a long term assignment.
START: ASAP
DURATION: 6 months + extensions!
LOCATION: Brussels
DESCRIPTION:
My client is looking for an Application Support for an ongoing project.
- Daily incident management that requires analytical and solution driven skills
- Giving assistance to the development team for providing production data for test purposes
- Working independently and in a team environment, sharing information and knowledge
- Able to prioritize, meet deadlines and mange changing priorities
- occasionally willing to work under high pressure and in these circumstances you stay calm and diplomatic in order to be as helpful as possible
SKILLS:
- MANDATORY SKILLS ARE
- SQL ( Oracle DB)
- Scripting (BASH), MySQL
- Tomcat/Apache
- Webserver/clients
- Linux advanced
- Usage of Toad
- Java programming
- Subversion
- Incident/problem and change handling. ITIL process based
- Strong reporting skills for meeting minutes/incident/problem reporting via Word/Excel
- SOLR, System DBA skills, Html/Xml skills are a plus
- Team player and very optimistic driven person
- Experience in electronic E-commerce or payment industry is a plus
- Languages: English + Dutch and/or French
- Participate in Standby which means that you will intervene outside office hours
- Well organized to guarantee a good follow-up of the production incidents
