Application Support Engineer

One of the leading financial organisations in the world is looking to on-board an Application Support Engineer for a 6 month contract in it's Dublin operations.

You will be familiar with platforms like Geneva, Weblogic, TIBCO, Gemfire and Charles River running on a Solaris/UNIX

Key Requirements: 

- Minimum 5 years of experience in building, administering, engineering and supporting custom applications running on Solaris/Unix platforms. 
- Hands-on experience in supporting at least 2 of the following, Geneva Portfolio Accounting System, Weblogic Platform and TIBCO EMS or equivalent. 
- Hands on development experience in Java/Scripting hosted on Unix platform. 
- Past experience with financial services applications a plus. 
- Must have developed scalable software for building multiple applications using popular tools like ant and Shell Scripts. 
- Experience with performance tuning of applications hosted on the Unix platform with strong debugging skills. 
- Working knowledge of SQL, preferably Oracle. 
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and oral.
