Application Support Developer

Our client a leading IT Services Organisation, delivering hi-tech transactional services, consulting and managed services for a number of external Clients is currently recruiting for an Application Support Developer.

Working on a 3 month contract based in Linwood or Livingston the role will involve:

- Dealing with a variety of external clients supporting with level 2 and Level 3 support on Microsoft systems.
- Support typically takes the form of investigating and resolving problems and providing information about the systems, potentially including monitoring their performance.
- Problems may be resolved by providing advice or training to users about the application systems functionality, correct operation or constraints, by devising work-arounds, correcting faults, making general or site-specific modifications
- Updating system documentation, manipulating data, or by defining enhancements - often in close collaboration with the systems developers

Experience:

- Previous experience working in a Service desk environment and providing software support services relation to specific application systems
- Good team player and ability to interact with the team
- C#
- VB.NET
- Sql Server
