One of Talent International's most prestigious clients are urgently seeking a contract Senior Application Support Consultant to join their North East site. This world leading consultancy is seeking two contract Application Support Analysts for an immediate start in Newcastle. This is a government project in Applications Management for a very well-known end client. The contracts are both 6months initially with the high possibility of multiple extensions.

As a Senior Application Support Consultant your duties will include:

To provide high-level support to the TRUCE suite of services
*

You will be responsible for supporting the application aspects of multiple live services management of live incidents
*

You will have responsibility to investigate incidents and provision of resolutions, including the interaction/interface with Solutions Delivery (such as project handover, clone testing, etc.)
*

Strong involvement in live incidents escalated via other support teams.
*

Coordination with new projects to develop an understanding of Live Support Requirements
*

You will be expected to provide support Out of Hours and to be On Call on a fair rota basis
*

Collection of adhoc statistics
*

Housekeeping on Live Services and Databases
*

Creating and maintenance if support documentation - LSM's, etc.
*

You will attend live support and customer meetings
*

Responsible for enhancements suggestions through Change Proposals/CIP's and trouble tickets
*

To provide technical advice and support to other areas in the business: clients/customer
*

Must have experience is either BAE NetReveal or Documentum

Technical skills:

*

UNIX/LINUX experience
*

WebLogic skills
*

JAVA
*

SQL and PL/SQL
*

You will have strong working knowledge of live service systems and applications
*

Experience of PVCS, EARS and Windows.
*

Knowledge of Clarity
*

Experience of Maestro Scheduler
*

Exposure or knowledge of SAS programming language
*

BAE NetReveal or Documentum
