Next Ventures are currently looking for an Application Support Consultant to join an initial 3 month contract position for Brussels, Belgium.
Required Skills - '-L1/L2 level support analyst with ITIL awareness
-Excellent communication skills and team spirit
-Log and analyze Incidents and Problems
- Run sanity checks (Manual and Automated)
- Incident assignment and follow up with involved parties
- Handle Service Requests
- Align with SLA's and report SLA breaches and escalate when required
- Arrange meetings to update Management on performance, availability.
- Technical analysis to review logs and categorize the incidents to right Configuration Item/Application
- Proactive monitoring and follow up on critical outages
- Reporting on statistics of Incident Management,SLA's etc
- Experience in Application Support with Oracle and Cobol/Java
- Preferably experience working with Retail/Commercial Banking applications
