Application Support Analyst + Securities/Bonds/Repos experience/

We are currently looking for an Application Support Analyst with good Unix Scripting skills to be part of a team that is responsible for the global support of IT systems that support the processing of securities products such as bonds and repos.

Responsibilities:
- Functional and technical analysis of incidents/problems and providing possible solutions;
- pro-active intake of new releases
- Participate in project-oriented developments.
- Fixed Income product knowledge (bonds/repos)
- Product knowledge: securities products like Bonds and Repos
- Backoffice trade processes
- Backoffice trade processing applications
- Installing releases
- Setup pro-active monitoring, and Scripting of manual support activities. (automate)
- Design application software/enhancements according to defined specifications;
- Assisting test teams with issues raised in the test environments;
- Provide advice on how to test the new developments;
- Provide input into the overall architectural structure of the systems;

Required experience:
- Experience with/knowledge of Focus reporting tool is essential
- Experience with/knowledge of Unix/Unix Scripting (AWK, SED, ksh) is essential
- 5 years experience as a support Analyst in a banking environment.
