Application Support Analyst, Manchester, Linux, £35k

An Application Support analyst is urgently required for a leading Software House based in Manchester City Centre. This is an exciting position to work for a rapidly growing company where there is unparalleled career progression.

My client is looking for someone with a background in Application Support. You will be resolving customer production issues and taking the follow up actions to ensure these issues do not re-occur! You will be managing the operation of the product and be responsible for administration tasks, support queues management and report management and documentation.

The ideal candidate will have solid application support experience and have a very good working knowledge of Linux (this is what the systems is run on). You will need to have experience for deploying software and have a good understanding of working in a production environment. The software is written in Java so if you have any experience of Java this would be useful but not an essential.
