Application Support Analyst (Lead) Global Financial Applications

Global leading tier one investment bank is looking to secure the services of a proven 2nd line application support analyst to join their team on site in Dublin, Ireland.

The successful candidate will be taking a lead role within this team and providing the folioing support services as well as root cause analysis on how to guide through the problem and the incident management process.

Production Assurance Support Lead
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Negotiable
Job Profile: Level 2 Application Support for Global Financial Applications.

Work with Level 2 team to resolve tickets on priority through defined process and escalation Matrix
Co-ordinate with various client stakeholders to provide technical solutions.
Triage issues and provide short-term and long term solutions
Speak through the solution with Client and provide insights in to entire chain of events and plan for resolution
Perform root cause analysis and work hands on to guide through the problem and incident management process
Co-ordinate with offshore and other global teams
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Support application Releases and change management functions
Provide support for monitoring of applications logs, feeds, issue tickets
Should be able to articulate the problem and provide step by step approach to problem and incident management

Mandatory Technical Skills
Unix and AIX platforms
Unix debugging, Shell Scripting
SQL, Java/Jquery
Oracle 9/10/11G database support
Application Monitoring tools knowhow - ITRS, RT View, ServiceNow, JIRA, Autosys
Knowledge of MQ/TIBOC/EMS, WebSphere, AbInitio and Informatica applications will be plus
Process and Best Practices
ITIL Process knowledge
Certification ITIL will be plus

Location

Experience in Global Cash Management and Payments business will be plus
