Application Support Analyst - Connect Direct

ECS has a contract requirement for an IBM Connect:Direct (Connect Direct)specialist to perform Installations, Configurations and Maintenance of the file transfer software across Mainframe, UNIX and Wintel platforms.

You must have the capability to Support and Implement Connect Direct on the major platforms (UNIX, Mainframe, Windows, I-Series and Tandem).

Tasks include:
Configuration of new instances, New installations, License Updates/Recertification, Incident/Problem and Change, 24 x 7 Support for Service, Out of Hours Project Support as required, Project Consultancy (basic), RFQ/Email Bucket Management, Risk Management, Problem prevention/Fixes/Maintenance/Investigation, Inventory Management, Service Improvements, Secure Plus (installations/Encryption/Keys Generation, Certificate Management), DR Testing, Currency Upgrades & Cross Skilling/Knowledge Transfer.
