Application Support Analyst

Role Responsibilities: * Point of contact between traders, developers, risk, and QA teams * Participate in systems support activities during North American afternoon and evening hours: 2nd shift (3-11PM) * Monitoring and alerting of critical trading system environments * Proactive identification and resolution of problem hotspots * Troubleshooting of complex systems issues * Participate in risk systems functional maintenance (parameters, products, market data) * Ensure completeness of risk systems and related application processes * Script solutions, monitor diagnostics * Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts * Accurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reporting * Provide help-desk support for risk systems end-users Required Skills: * 5 years minimum of work experience as application support analyst * Financial, Trading, Market Data background * Familiarity and interest in risk management * Proficient with Microsoft Word, and Excel Full medical/dental and 401K plans included.
