Application Support - Amsterdam Relocation Opportunity

Cathcart Associates have an exceptional opportunity to join our established client in an application support role. Our client is BASED IN CENTRAL EDINBURGH, WITH OFFICES WORLDWIDE, AND THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO WORK ONSITE AT ONE OF THEIR FINANCIAL SECTOR CLIENTS IN THE HEART OF AMSTERDAM. This opportunity will suit someone who can initially train up in Edinburgh and then head to Amsterdam for a two year contract. My client offers A VERY GENEROUS RELOCATION PACKAGE ON TOP OF THE PRO RATA SALARY OFFERED, WHICH COVERS ALL LIVING COSTS INCLUDING LUXURY ACCOMMODATION, ALL TRAVEL AND ALL FOOD.

This is a dynamic and customer facing role, and so my client is looking for someone with a DEGREE IN A COMPUTING OR FINANCE RELATED DISCIPLINE and some technical knowledge and experience across one or more of the following:

*Oracle

*PL/SQL

*Java

*.NET

You must have strong communication, problem solving and inter-personal skills as you will be working very closely with others in supporting and adding to various software applications. AS A MINIMUM, YOU WILL HAVE BASIC EXPERIENCE WITHIN A FINANCIAL SERVICES ENVIRONMENT OR OF FINANCE/SECURITY MARKETS. You must also be able to demonstrate your interest in building on your technical and finance experience 'on the job' and through self-learning.
