Application Support - 6 Month Contract

In this role, you will be responsible to provide THIRD LEVEL SUPPORT to an ITIL based Service Desk structure in the area of corporate business applications - Provide services to customers to ensure the smooth operation of business software applications, analysis and research necessary to configure and trouble-shoot application and database performance issues, plus the provision of technical advice to customers.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Minimum 5 years experience in IT with a broad range of exposure to applications, service delivery and infrastructure.
- Advanced level knowledge of SQL Server.
- Advanced level knowledge of Microsoft Access.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Office Applications.
- Sound knowledge of Internet based technologies and specific tools such as Microsoft IIS
- Thorough understanding of Microsoft Windows Server and VMware
- Knowledge of the principles, procedures, and tools of data management
- Thorough knowledge and experience of Microsoft application technologies from a support and implementation perspective, including Windows Server, SQL Server, SharePoint, IIS, Office, Access and other relevant technologies.
