OMS Application Support Analyst - Investment Management

Leading Investment Management Vendor is seeking an OMS Application / Production Support Analyst to join their growing team. The main responsibility of the Support Analyst is the support of this first class Order Management System (OMS).

The clients of this Buyside Vendor include prestigious hedge funds, asset managers and numerous other investment management firms.

The successful OMS Application Support Analyst will be providing mainly business support, with some technical support, problem investigation and technical support for internal clients, liaising with internal development teams on bug fixes, enhancements and updating Oracle/MS-SQL databases used for problem investigation.

The required technical skills include:

* Order Management Systems (OMS)
* SQL (MS QueryAnalyzer and/or Oracle SQL*Plus)
* Relational Databases: Oracle and/or MS SQL Server
* Financial messaging applications (e.g. FIX, LiquidNet, Market Axess, OMGEO CTM)
* Database reporting tools: Crystal Reporting

Generalist knowledge of the technologies used in the financial services will also be required; including interfaces, development environments and data providers. The OMS Application Support Analyst role will require good communication skills, organisational skills, the ability to perform under pressure and experience dealing with users and/or clients.
