Application Solution Architect, Windows Communication, Banking, Brusse

OBJECTIVE: My client is a Brussels based international bank. They have a new web-based corporate actions tool ( Application ) that allows customers to connect to the bank and use its services through a client communication interface. The bank is now seeking an Application Solution Architect, to assure the good coherence and evolution of the Windows Communication domain.

TASKS:

- responsible for the coherence and the evolution of the Windows Communication domain. You will also be accountable to protect
- establish the target direction of the domain ( vision' initiatives) jointly with ISA (Information Systems Architecture);
- enable the implementation of the domain strategy (ie. create when needed domain-specific guidelines usable by the project designers, developers or testers; drive the execution of the cost and complexity reduction actions and report progress on their implementation);
- actively participate in all projects impacting your domain (Project definition, base-lining and delivery phases);
- establish
- timely reporting of risks and issues related to your own application domain;
- build
- recertify on a regular basis the Application Owners needed to support you in your domain;
- be an active participant to the Application Solution Architects community (ie. develop
- coordinate & prioritise the activities of the Application Owners in line with your domain priorities
- pro-actively develop and maintain your knowledge of the applications in your domain;
- ensure that a correct level of up-to-date documentation is maintained for your domain;

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

-3 to 5years experience in Design/Architecture in Windows Communication domainsl;
- VB.NET;
- Web 2.0 - Javascript (JQuery), HTML, CSS;
- Team Foundation Server (nice to have);
- Standard development patterns (eg. M.V.C.);
- Cross-platforms integration mechanisms (nice to have, eg. MQ Series, Connect Direct, etc);
- SQL Server 2008/2012;

Some knowledge of Back Office banking activities, in particular any one of collateral management, settlement or custody or corporate actions would be a plus.
