Application Server Engineer - Contract, Amsterdam

My client is a large insurance company seeking an experienced Application Server engineer for a 12 month contract.

MANDITORY: This role requires candidates to speak English and FRENCH OR DUTCH FLUENTLY.

Spec as follows:

The goals of the mission are:

Support the migration of multiple Windows Server 2003 based market applications to Windows Server 2008R2 or higher

Design and implement release management procedures for several market applications

The resource will join an existing domain of 3 system engineers.

Technical experience required:

Mandatory
In depth knowledge of Windows Server
Market application deployment on Windows Server
Scripting capabilities (eg. Batch, PowerShell, .NET)
Knowledge of Active Directory
DBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle)
Webserver (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, jBoss)

Preferable
Experience with market products (eg. Microsoft Dynamics, SAS, SAP)
Knowledge of SCOM, CommVault and SharePoint

Functional experience required:

Mandatory
Application deployment process (architecture, detailed design, )

Preferable
Experience with spnego
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
