Application/Server Architect

My Client is a major company based in Amsterdam, they are looking for experienced Application/Server Architects to work on existing banking applications migrating them to a new Windows version (2008, 2012). You will work with the customer, to identify and explain in detail how to determine how the server must be configured and be able to operate correctly. You will also work with server deployment colleagues based in Malaysia but communication will be in English.

The right candidate will be proactive and have experience working on multiple migrations simultaneously and ensuring accuracy and detail. You will have a broad technical background (front- to Back End ) and broad experience in migration and design of applications to Windows.

You will be working in a complex outsourcing environment and will need to maintain the clients standards and protect their interests

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

- Very deep ( front- to Back End ) technical knowledge
- Several years of experience with Windows Server and Scripting ( VB, Powershell );
- Extensive experience in migrating applications to a new Windows version;

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/CERTIFICATION

- ITIL Foundation;
- Windows 2008 MSCE certified;
