Profile: Application Server Administrator
The Job description: *
You will work in an international environment, part of a currently 3 persons headed team in the IT division
*The team is responsible for 4 WebSphere Application Server environments hosting approximately 90 applications.
*This responsibility includes maintenance, upgrading, capacity planning, and architectural and infrastructure improvements.
*The team is point of contact for our developers, helpdesk and operations support as well as providing support during application development projects.
*Within the team, you will be primarily involved in the day-to-day activities related to 2 projects.
*To better support recently on boarded technology, we are looking for an additional resource with excellent skills in JBOSS and Red Hat Linux technology. Additional knowledge of Perl Scripting and Apache is an advantage.
*As part of the Websphere Application support team, knowledge of following technologies is a strong advantage:*Scripting language (Perl, Powershell)
*WAS/Tomcat
*IIS
*LifeRay
Your personal profile:*
bachelor/master degree or experience in the field
*working knowledge of Linux and/or AIX
*in-depth familiar with the above mentioned technologies
*capable of working under pressure
*no 9-to-5 mentality
*used/willing to work in an international environment
*excellent problem solving skills
*accurate
*procedure based driven
*customer focused
*good knowledge of Dutch and English
