Urgently required Application Security Officer needed for a 6 month rolling contract based in Brussels, Belgium.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Accurately identifying potential attacks upon software in order to better understand the risks and facilitate risk management.
- Validate software designs and architecture from a security point of view for new and ongoing IT projects.
- Promote the inclusion of security-related requirements during the software development process and provide security advice.
- Increasing security knowledge amongst personnel to promote secure-by-default designs through training and guidance.
- Respond to vulnerability reports or incidents and coordinate the remediation of issues.
- Build a balanced software security assurance program
