Application Security Engineer

Projektbeschreibung
This is a green field project to deliver health care products into the Cloud. To be successful in this role, the candidate should have prior enterprise IT security and compliance experience. They will work to ensure Software as a Service (SaaS) applications are designed, implemented and operated in accordance with the companies applicable security standards and practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Hunger to get involved in every part of our system - from the earliest stage of product security architecture, design and development to deployment, troubleshooting, and performance analysis - to ensure a reliable quality secure product in production.
- Contribute to software product alignment with information security controls, standards and regulatory requirements.
- Perform ethical hacking, application penetration tests and internal assessments against defined industry standards (Open Web Application Security Project/OWASP Top 10)
- Manage the incident, investigation, and reporting of security vulnerabilities within the Health SaaS product.
- Perform dynamic and static application scanning to identify vulnerabilities.
- Assist with documenting security controls, systems and tooling.
- Provide regular reporting on the department's compliance status.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven security application and compliance experience.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with ability to influence across an organization from Architects, Developers to Managers.
- Highly knowledgeable of system security principles such as defence in depth, granularity of privilege, etc. and how they are applied in practice, not only in theory.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar role.
- CCNA Security, CEH, CISSP, CISA, CISM, or other certifications a plus.
- Candidate should have a degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.
