APPLICATION SECURITY - C#

ECOMMERCE BASED CLIENT ARE IN NEED OF AN APPLICATION SECURITY SPECIALIST FOR AN ASSIGNMENT WITHIN THEIR CENTRAL LONDON OFFICE. THIS IS A PART TIME ENGAGEMENT, DUE TO BUDGET CONSTRAINTS. YOU WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO WORK 2 DAYS A WEEK. THIS WOULD SUIT AN APPLICATION SECURITY SPECIALIST LOOKING FOR A ROLE THAT CAN OFFER A HEALTHY WORK LIFE BALANCE. PLEASE RESPOND IF YOU FIT THE BILL.

The role will be reporting to the Data Security Manager, you must be able to quickly and effectively analyse risk as well as escalate issues in a timely manner. The candidate must be able to communicate both with technical and non-technical alike, and are expected to be able to work directly with customers where required. Previous Application Security within C# is essential.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CAPABILITIES:

- A very strong focus on software gained from hands on experience of developing applications.
- Strong expertise in software security gained by securely designing, developing or testing applications
- A good understanding and familiarity with the SDLC and different software development models
- Application risk management
- Support Data Security Manager in risk assessment, fraud and Security incidents
- Experience of secure code review
- Familiarity with the .NET programming language and framework
- Familiarity with Agile techniques in order to maximise their usage and benefit across the life cycle.
- Good interpersonal communication skills with an ability to interpret and present information to a variety of recipients using suitable modes of communication.
- The desire and ability to seek up to date information from elsewhere and apply this in relation to design, development, support and management activities.
- CISSP- nice to have
