Application & Release Manager for Windows 10 Application Readiness Workstream (m/f)

IHRE AUFGABEN:

-Manage application portfolio and secure data consistency by tracking and versioning backups
-Define and plan upcoming Windows releases including content (release calendar)
-Structure and coordinate testing phases before Windows client releases (plus creation of rollback plans)
-Create test strategy and testing report document in close collaboration with Application Readiness Stream Lead and IT Quality
-Coordinate rectification of potential failures during releases
-Announce unplanned delays by using KPI symbols for management and inform all involved release participants
-Support rollout team with application related questions
-Trace all decisions consistently through software (packages)
-Develop algorithms for software consolidation and Release Management for date, information and decision templates
-Support shaping and documentation of to-be application readiness testing process for new Microsoft update strategy

IHRE QUALIFIKATIONEN:

-Profound experience in migration/deployment projects (e.g. rollout projects, handling of large data sets)
-Technical and functional knowledge in the field of relational databases (preferably MS SQL Server)
-Good knowledge of report generation and automatization (MS Reporting Services, VBA or similar)
-Microsoft background for Windows client release development and deployment (System Center and Windows10)
-Knowledge regarding procedural problem-solving approaches and derivation of logical algorithms of data consolidation
-Experience in defining and calculating KPIs for various levels of management
-ITIL Foundation certification or relevant experience in Service Management
-Working experience in virtual, international team settings
-Business fluent in English; German, Spanish, French or Polish skills are of advantage
