APPLICATION PROTOYPE DESIGNER/DEVELOPER needed for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- The Prototype Developer will utilize their technical understanding of application architecture to quickly build working software prototypes from which enterprise systems can be built.
- The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills to successfully interact with business partners, software development teams, software architects and engagement leads.
- Work collaboratively with TD Data Team to develop innovative prototypes. The prototypes will incorporate current Front End engineering best practices.
- Maintain a high awareness of industry issues and trends, particularly in regard to accessibility, usability, and emerging technologies, and keep team members informed as appropriate, with a view to incorporating these in future projects
- Interpret provided graphic, visual, and interaction designs in HTML, CSS, and Javascript & jQuery
- Amazon cloud deployments of prototypes
- Work with business process engineers in the analysis, design and development of enterprise-class software
- Work with department and enterprise architecture teams to define application architectures and designs that result in efficient business systems and integrate seamlessly with other enterprise systems
- Provide estimation of deliverables, design and develop software

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Fluency in interactive web technologies (HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery and AJAX), AWS deployments, industry trends, and experience designing applications leveraging these trends.
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing complex, enterprise-level mobile and web applications with Bootstrap, Foundation, or other adaptive web frameworks
- Understanding of user-centered design and human computer interaction methodologies
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills to handle multiple diverse projects simultaneously
- Minimum of 3-5 years software development experience with Full Stack experience in OO or functional programming frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- The demonstrated ability to learn and acquire new technologies as needed
- Proficient with the following:
- Refactoring
- Developing multi-tier applications
- Object-Oriented methodologies
- High level GO4 design patterns (above and beyond J2EE patterns)
- Spring framework
- Amazon Web Services
- Hibernate
- Desired Skills
- Experience with Test Driven Development
- Experience with Maven
- Experience with SVN
- Spray/Play frameworks a plus
- Experience with Scala
- Experience in agriculture and/or biotechnology
