Application Project Manager (German Speaking)

On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an APPLICATION PROJECT MANAGER - GERMAN SPEAKING from a Financial Services background. For this 6 months contract position based in Bern, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

- Leading a mid-size IT project in the area of IT Mortgages & Risk Management Products
- Defining the scope of the project, the implementation approach and resource planning
- Managing the stakeholder and business client base
- Identifying and managing any issues and risks, whilst defining the response strategies and course of action
- Collaborate with other stakeholders internally and externally

YOU MUST POSSESS:

- At least 5 years' experience with project management and front to back application development delivery experience
- University degree or equivalent higher education qualification with a business focus
- Experienced in managing a mixed resource pool
- Strong background within Financial Services or Banking
- Excellent knowledge of project management tools and systems
- Proven track record of managing mid-size IT projects
- Fluent in English and German
