Application Project Manager Antwerp

On behalf of our prestigious customer we are looking for an Application Project Manager with technical knowledge of Windows/Linux, Oracle, MSSQL and is familiar with server virtualization (VMWare, AWS) and SDDC (Software Defined Data Center in the Antwerp area.
Main duty will be to coordinate application migrations from existing infrastructure towards a new SDDC (software defined data center) using On-Premise and Virtual Private Cloud solutions.
Task:
- Primary contact for Technical Applications Owners within EMEA
- Support Technical Application Owners in rehosting their applications in an SDDC (Software Defined Data Center)
- Track, schedule and manage issues to ensure commitment dates and project deliverables are met
- Deliver project within requested timeframe
- Maintain detailed project status and identify potential issues or bottlenecks of any kind.
- Provide project status reviews to the regional Program Lead Required skills
Technical profile requirements:
- Project Management experience in an international and multicultural environment (plan, schedule, issue tracking/remediation, risk analysis, etc.)
- Ability to identify and implement process and/or application improvements
- Experience with Application Lifecycle Management in a large enterprise
- Computer infrastructure operations or deployment background (Servers, operating systems, databases, software components, etc )
- Able to solve technical problems (Windows, Linux, Oracle, MSSQL)
- Familiar with server virtualization (VMWare, AWS) and SDDC (Software Defined Data Center)
- Strong tracking, coordination and project planning skills
- Data capture and visualization skills (reporting)
- Able to follow change management procedures and internal guidelines
Personal Skills:
- Able to work in virtual teams
- Flexibility in working hours is required to deal with time differences
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work on multiple simultaneous tasks with limited supervision
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication and team collaboration skills
- English spoken and written is a must
- Start: 02/02/2015
End: 30/06/2015 (+extension option)
Location: Antwerp area
Ideally would be a project management certification (Prince, PMI)
