Application Packaging/Team Lead/Remediation Services Lead

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for French speaking people, to work in France, near to Paris. An immediate start for a 5-6 month duration. The project is a Windows 7 rollout to about 7,500 users.

Application Packaging/team Lead/Remediation Services Lead Role Description:
-Office files discovery and remediation.
-Manage overall life cycle of all applications for all testing and packaging.

Activities
-Monitor, document, and report on all application services activities
-Identify, track, and document all packaged or supported applications.
-Gather and document all customer requirements
-Create packages for the customer/application owner to perform unit testing
-Work with software vendor to resolve issues or problems
-Create and manage programs and advertisements for packages in SCCM
-Create and manage Active Directory groups to manage access to advertisements
-Work with Applied Materials UAT testers to resolve issues
-Work with application owner and Applied Materials to create release plans
-Assist customer/application owner on IT change management process
-Monitor and report on all software deployments
-Discover all office files and remediate using OMPM tool
-Convert office files to latest office 2010 files format
-Resolve post deployment application issues
-Retire Legacy advertisements and packages as necessary
-Attend weekly meeting to discuss all application services activities

Requirements
-Good understanding of Scripting within the context of application packaging
-Ability to use vendor supplied packaging tools to create software packages
-Good understanding on OMPM tool.
-Overall experience in remediating office files to latest format of office 2010.
-Windows 7 packaging experience
-Experience creating MSI packages
-Solid understanding of testing, testing environments, and deployments
-Group Policy management experience
-Active Directory operational experience
-Solid English communication skills (written and oral)
-Fluent in French speaking
-Ability to create, collect, and understand log files
-Experience with QA/QC processes
-Experience creating packages for Microsoft applications
-Experience with SCCM programs and advertisements
-Experience creating packages for SCCM OSD task sequences

Qualifications
-Three years or more experience in application services field
-Two years or more experience creating application packages
-One year or more in a lead or management role

Nice to have:
-Experience creating packages for MS APP-V 4.6 or MS MED-V deployment.
-Ability to speak or write Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Italian, French, or German
-Microsoft BPOS experience
-64-bit packaging or imaging experience
