Application Packaging Consultant (French Speaker)

Position: APPLICATION PACKAGING CONSULTANT (FRENCH SPEAKER)
Duration: 3-6 months +
Location: PARIS, FRANCE

Job Description:

- Good understanding of Scripting within the context of application packaging
- Ability to use vendor supplied packaging tools to create software packages
- Windows 7 packaging experience
- Experience creating MSI packages
- Solid understanding of testing, testing environments, and deployments
- Solid English communication skills (written and oral)
- Fluent in French speaking
- Ability to create, collect, and understand log files
- Experience with QA/QC processes
- Experience creating packages for Microsoft applications

Qualifications

- Three years or more experience in application services field
- Two years or more experience creating application packages

ACTIVITIES

- Check existing documents and media availability
- Coordinate with customer to get information and media
- Coordinate with App owner and vendor for technical information on the media
- Gather application configuration and requirement from Business
- Gather Application installation source/media.
- Identify prerequisites for applications
- Conduct technical assessments to the application
- Gather license requirement
- Create package request
- Coordinate with business for test instruction or requirements
- Conduct UAT
- Be single point of technical contact for the applications
