Application Owner Consultant

APPLICATION OWNER CONSULTANT (CONTRACT)

Your main focus is to identify and work with the Application Owners within the current project/teams. Your overall responsibility is then to lead and support these Application Owners, define and approach the application modelling and approach the data migration process (within the data centre).

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

- Migrating the applications from the data centre to cloud
- But new apps are constantly being created, so will be managing these also
- No need to code, just common level of understanding is required
- Application Owners work with Developers to create & maintain the API so need to have knowledge of this
- Must have Excel experience as the current teams log everything on Excel

EXPERIENCE

- Essential - Advanced Excel Skills & DC experience
- Must have hands on experience leading supporting App. owners
- Work with business to identify the application owners
- Formulate discovery questionnaire and approach
- Hold workshops with the app. Owners to identify migration dependencies and begin formulating the remediation and migration approach
- Being able to work on application Modelling, and train others in using the tool for application modelling.
- Coordinate with application owners and environment specialists to Modell application environments into the discovery tooling.
- Verify applications into the CMDB
- Feedback questionnaire outputs to CMDB and Discovery team
