Application Move Expert

Application Move Expert - English Speaking. My client a very large logistics company Based in Berlin are searching for an Application Move Expert to work on an exciting fast paced move project for 6 months +. Based on Seniority my client can pay anything from ?500-?725 per day. The Application Move Support Expert plans and executes - jointly with other internal and external experts - application move activities. He takes accountability for the work packages belonging to his area and delivers them according to schedule in quality and within the defined effort/cost frame. Responsibilities: Plan (10%)

-define and update
-align plans with other application move streams / activities

Execute (85%)

- validate the "ready to fill" infrastructure
- Drive and perform setup, configuration and installation activities in the OS, DB and Application which are necessary for the application installation and configuration
- Document setup, installation and configuration activities
- Install and configure supplementary components which are required for the application to run (like Java runtime, Apache web server, ?)
- load the to be migrated data into the application / database in order to move the application, collaborate with, OS experts, DB experts, 3rd party application experts (BT internal or suppliers)
- prepare operational documentation for later transition into operation (like Runbooks, Application Installation Guide)
