Managing applications in such a way that it meets the ongoing and future needs of a defined business area. Providing high level expert, technical support and consultation to the business and IT Managment

Duties:

- Act as a System Administrator for application(s) used to manage programs globally
- Coordinate and conduct business system support, training, education and problem solving sessions.
- Analyse Service Requirements in business to define/revise service levels.
- Monitor Service Quality and put proactive measures in place to improve it.
- Counsel users regarding system functionality, new user requirements, plan and implement application changes by involving all relevant parties (eg IT, QA, Business).
- Manage and update the system Intranet site, application lists, end user access permissions, and user manuals
- Project management oversight, reporting project tasks including all aspects of business analysis, development of requirements, system design, coding and system implementation.
- Implement application enhancements and modifications as necessary to meet business needs.
- Perform user acceptance testing and contribute to system enhancement user requirements
- Execute and document periodic end user access rights checks
- Develop and maintain documentation of system procedures and functions
- Conduct system migration as applicable
- Support roll-out of system enhancements
- Develop and present system performance metrics to System Owner
- Support audit preparation for internal compliance audits and external Health Authority inspections
- Participation on initiatives which are sponsored by other business areas, including IT, that impact the application(s) and may require changes or need data/information. Management and direction of IT staff responsible for providing ongoing technical and application support to business units.
- Responsibilities include vendor management. And seeking out new and innovative solutions.
- Interfaces with external vendors to make sure the customers needs are met

Experience

- Minimum 2 years' experience in supporting SharePoint.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry or healthcare sector preferably in the area of Application Support/Development
- Demonstrated use of trouble-shooting systems and working knowledge of incident management and problem solving skills
- Strong team player in global Matrix team organization with an ability to interact with various audiences including IT and non-IT professionals
- Ability to work independently under time and pressure constraints
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive and flexible
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage change effectively always mindful of technology, business processes, and systems implications
- Good Understanding of ITIL Framework
- Demonstrate technical competency of SQL
